What is sauna infusion?
Aufguss / Saunagus
Sauna infusion — also known as Aufguss or saunagus — is built on the traditional Finnish sauna experience, combined with controlled ice and water, essential oils and cold immersion.
Each session is guided by a trained instructor who leads the room through waves of heat, aroma, breath and cold. It is intense, social and deeply restorative. Most people come the first time out of curiosity — and return because the body asks for it.
It is one of the best things you can give both your body and your mind.
The science
Regular sauna and contrast (hot/cold) practice is associated with relaxation, recovery and a sense of wellbeing. Research also points to something simpler: a large study of sauna users found that the shared, social ritual is itself one of the strongest drivers of how good people feel afterwards. Zensation is built around exactly that — doing it together, guided, in a beautiful space.

Who we are
Kim Sandby
Founder
I'm Kim Sandby — Danish by origin, and proud of it. Born in Copenhagen many years ago, and self-employed almost my whole life. This island has had a hold on me since 1985, when I attended guide school in Cala Major.
In Denmark I built an international construction toy company and ran an event place hosting more than 400 intimate "Dinner & Concerts." In 2019 I made the move to Mallorca permanent.
But something came with me from Denmark — and something I have missed a lot. Guided sauna infusion. I did it almost every day at home. I missed the feeling, the calm, the Zensation of it. What was once a Scandinavian, German and Austrian thing is now happening all over the world. And now it will be possible here, in wonderful Mallorca, too.
That is why I founded Zensation. "Disconnect in order to Reconnect." There is too much stress around us. This is mindfulness done in a great way — guided sauna infusions at the heart of it, alongside stretching, breathing, sound therapy and more.

The sauna runs at traditional sauna temperatures. The ICY cold plunge operates across a wide controlled temperature range, allowing sessions to be tailored from refreshing to intense.
