Sauna infusion on Mallorca
Waves of heat, aroma, breath and cold — guided by a trained instructor.
What was once Scandinavian is now happening everywhere
Sauna infusion — also known as Aufguss or saunagus — is built on the traditional Finnish sauna experience, combined with controlled ice and water, essential oils and cold immersion. It is intense, social and deeply restorative. It is one of the best things you can give both your body and your mind — and now it is possible in wonderful Mallorca, too.
What an infusion is made of
Heat
The traditional Finnish sauna experience as the foundation — waves of heat, precisely dosed by the instructor.
Aroma
Essential oils carry every wave — from energising to deeply calming, tuned to the dramaturgy of the session.
Breath
Guided breathing techniques connect heat and cold — and carry you through the intense moments.
Cold
Controlled immersion in ice and water — the contrast that wakes the circulation and clears the mind.
Sound
Sound therapy and stillness as part of the journey — mindfulness you can hear and feel.
Community
Intense, social, deeply restorative — the shared ritual is the heart of Zensation.

Sauna infusion — frequently asked
What is the difference between sauna infusion, Aufguss and saunagus?
They are three names for the same ritual: the guided sauna experience with water, ice and essential oils on the stove — called Aufguss in Germany, saunagus in Denmark, sauna infusion internationally.
Do I need experience?
No. The instructor guides the whole room — newcomers are expressly welcome.
How hot does it get?
The sauna runs at traditional sauna temperatures. The intensity comes from the Aufguss waves — and you set your own pace.
What does the hot/cold contrast practice do?
Regular sauna and contrast practice is associated with relaxation, recovery and a sense of wellbeing. Research also shows: the shared, social ritual itself is one of the strongest drivers of how good people feel afterwards.
