The story of Zensation
From Copenhagen to Calvià — and why guided sauna infusion came along.

I'm Kim Sandby — Danish by origin, and proud of it. Born in Copenhagen many years ago, and self-employed almost my whole life. This island has had a hold on me since 1985, when I attended guide school in Cala Major.
In Denmark I built an international construction toy company and ran an event place hosting more than 400 intimate “Dinner & Concerts.” In 2019 I made the move to Mallorca permanent.
But something came with me from Denmark — and something I have missed a lot: guided sauna infusion. I did it almost every day at home. I missed the feeling, the calm, the Zensation of it. What was once a Scandinavian, German and Austrian thing is now happening all over the world. And now it will be possible here, in wonderful Mallorca, too.
That is why I founded Zensation. There is too much stress around us. This is mindfulness done in a great way — guided sauna infusions at the heart of it, alongside stretching, breathing, sound therapy and more.
